Career/Tech Services Scholarship Application & Process

Objective: To provide a deserving graduating high school senior who is a resident of South Kingstown or Narragansett with a Two-Year Award of $1,000.00 per year to assist in the financial needs of further education.

Selection Process:

• Student must be a resident of South Kingstown or Narragansett attending either South Kingstown, Narragansett or Prout High School
• Winners will be chosen solely on the merit of the Application
• Award winners will be announced at the Senior Awards Night or Banquet

Selection Requirements/Considerations:

• Students must complete the Application Provided by the Rotary Club of Wakefield
• Applications must be submitted to the Guidance Department by April 5, 2010
• The student will be of good personal character and integrity
• The student is in need of the financial assistance provided by this scholarship
• Although not required, community service, school involvement or classroom leadership will by considered a bonus by the committee
