Career/Tech Services Scholarship Application & Process

Objective:

To provide to two deserving graduating high school seniors who are residents of South Kingstown or Narragansett with a One- or Two-Year Award of $1,000.00 per year to assist in the financial needs of further education through a 12 -24 month Vocational, Technical or Certificate Program.

Selection Process:

• Student must be a resident of South Kingstown or Narragansett attending either South Kingstown, Narragansett, The Prout High Schools. or Chariho Vocational School
• Winners will be chosen solely on the merit of the Application
• Award winners will be announced at the Senior Awards Night or Banquet

Selection Requirements/Considerations:

• Students must complete the Application Provided by the Rotary Club of Wakefield
• Applications must be submitted to the Guidance Department by April 8, 2011
• The student will be of good personal character and integrity
• The student is in need of the financial assistance provided by this scholarship
• Community service, school involvement and classroom leadership will be considered by the committee
